Year in Review
Gentlemen, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for allowing me to review your weekly matches for my newspaper. Congratulations to everyone who played this year ... may you have continued success for many more years to come. Speaking of success, Mr. Cronins team really surprised everyone didn't they? Nice job gentlemen you started slow, gained momentum in week 4 and then never looked back. I wrote some things about this team lacking experience and leadership.....Mea Couppa These guys are the real deal! Will you be togetther as a team next year? If so...... my $$$$$$ is on the repeat.
Mr. Miller.....Hole in 1.... What a great accomplishment. I'd like to come by for a photo and the particulars regarding the feat, to put it in the end of year story the BG is writing.
Speaking of feats!!!! 73 and a 66 on week 13 for Paul McLeod and Eric Wiseman!!!! I thought for sure that it was either a misprint or that these two "golfers" played 18 holes that night instead of 9. I'd like to meet with you two gents to review that round but my coloumn doesn't allow me that much space
Well folks thats it for this year.....who knows what next year will bring? Probably a different intern reporting on a different team, but you never know. Nothing is for certain.... EXCEPT a couple of things ( parting shots)
Dave Maguire will continue to have early tee time 85 percent of the time.
Ryan Longdin will continue to either miss or be late for 33 percent of his matches
Ron Berton Sr. and Bob Antonelli will show up in May with a terrific tan
Phil Miller will put everyone to sleep waiting for him to hit.
Mike Cronin will continue to give on course golf lessons ... wether you ask for it or not!
Dave Berard will have a $200 bar tab
Bill Collins Jr will no longer have the freedom to stay out drinking with Dad.
Gino will show up at the bar ONCE.
Bob Curtin and Mark Ruggiero will discuss assetts, liabilities, debits and credits
Bill Layne will continue to bump into Maguires no matter which way he moves!
and Finally.... Speaking about Maguires... Dr. Doug, after witnessing the success of his older brother David, will be playing in those god awful plaid shorts and using [Awesome Color Golf Balls]!
FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE
