week 5 overview

Where were the Maguires last night? I came down to introduce myself to the family arriving plenty of time before there scheduled 5:27 tee time. POOF! They were already gone.!!!! The boys on the putting green were left shaking their heads wondering how they do it. One player mentioned that he thought they were concerned that all the free food would be gone if they arrived after their scheduled tee time.

Speaking about the Maguires .... round 1 goes to younger brother Doug. He administered a sound spanking on brother David.

Team 1, was lead this week by potential MVP, Mike Curran. Sporting, new clubs, a new swing and a winners attitude, Mike whooped his opponent Collins sr, 16-2. Look for Mike to update his golf cart, warddrobe and even a new car by the end of the season.

Congratulations to Mark Ruggierio who won closest to the pin. Also a big round of applause to Brian Del Solia for a sizzling round of 37 gross 29.... can you say SANDBAGGER?

Welcome back Tom Keenan... Tom tried out his shoulder and reports that it felt good after the round and when reached at home this morning he said he's good to go and just waiting to be called in. Ryan can you feel the heat??????
