Week 2 Overview

What wind? Despite wind gust of up to 30 mph, the golfers of the Tuesday Night Divots went out and settled down the course last night.

Bouncing back from last weeks poor performances, Joe Fiumara led the boys with a 39, nice job Joe. Mike Cronin a very respectable 41, lessons? What lessons?
How about Mark Ruggiero? 15 points!

Who is this guy Mike Curran? Two weeks into the season and he is highlighted again. Last week he cashes the big money check for closest to the pin and this week he equals Ruggiero's 15 points to lead his team to a very nice point night.

Ahhh, the Maguire CLAN, nothing new to add here other than to say it will be an interesting race to the end. the boys shot 43,44,45 and throw in Bill Laynes 44 you got one very raucous dinner table on Sunday afternoon bragging about who's the man.

Finally, congratulations to Paul Maccloud for closest to the pin. My sources tell me that he should keep the envelope in his car and not take it into the watering hole, maybe he'd have something left to show for his efforts.
